At 10:25pm yesterday, Wednesday 17 April, three fire engines from Lazonby and Penrith and a water bowser from Penrith attended an outbuilding fire on North Dykes, Great Salkeld.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The fire involved a garage, which firefighters brought under control using two hose reels, two dry powder extinguishers and two breathing apparatus.
“Crews were in attendance for one hour and thirty minutes.”
