A teenager has been flown to hospital in Newcastle after being hit by a motorbike in the Lake District.
At approx 5:30pm on Saturday 20 April a road traffic collision occurred on the B5289 between Keswick and Borrowdale.
The collision involved a 17-year-old male pedestrian from outside the area and a motorbike, ridden by a 24-year-old man from West Cumbria.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The pedestrian was flown from the scene to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle by the Great North Air Ambulance.
“The pedestrian is described as being in a stable condition.
“The road was closed until 9pm while collision investigation officers examined the scene.”
