Appeal after car stolen in Maryport

Police are investigating the theft of a yellow Citroën C1 from Bounty Avenue, Maryport which occurred overnight on Saturday 20 April.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The car was stolen from outside an address and was later located in an extremely damaged state.

“Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the car being taken or driven in the Maryport area between Saturday evening and Sunday morning.”
