Firefighters tackle Endmoor kitchen blaze

At 5:01pm yesterday, Sunday 21 April, three fire engines – two from Kendal and one from Kirkby Lonsdale attended a domestic building fire on Gatebeck Road, Endmoor – this was a kitchen fire in a bungalow.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one thermal imaging camera to fight the fire and were at the scene for one and a half hours.”
