Police name man killed in M6 collision

Cumbria Police have confirmed that the man who died following a road traffic collision on Sunday 21st April 2019 on the M6 near Southwaite, has been named as Daniel Brett-Sommers, aged 34 from Shrewsbury.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “There were no other vehicles involved in the collison.

“Specialist police officers are supporting the family.”

Any witnesses are asked to contact PC 2091 Towlson on 101, quoting log 291 of the 21st April 2019.
