Police appeal after car driven dangerously in Appleby and Penrith

Police are appealing for witnesses after a silver coloured BMW 3 Series was driven dangerously on Boroughgate in Appleby at approx 11:50am today, Saturday 4 May.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The car had been seen driving on pavements at high speed through Appleby into Long Marton.

“The same car was later seen at approx 2:50pm driving at speed on Fell Lane in Penrith.”

Police are asking anyone who saw the car or who has dashcam footage to contact 101 or email [email protected] or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting log 94 of 4 May.
