A689 closed at Crosby-on-Eden following collision

Emergency services are dealing with a two vehicle road traffic collision near Crosby-on-Eden.

Police were called today (May 6) at 5.57pm following a collision near Carlisle airport.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The road is currently closed in both directions.

“Smaller vehicles can get through Crosby-on-Eden, however drivers of HGVs are asked to avoid the A689 and use the A69.”
