Police appeal after attemped burglary in Barrow

Police are investigating an attempt burglary on West View Road, Barrow which occurred on Wednesday 8th May at approximately 3:25pm.

Offender has entered the property by an insecure door whilst the occupants were home and then made off upon hearing voices inside.

The offender is described as white man, between 25-45yrs old, 5’6″ tall, skinny build wearing black hoody with orange/red stripe and dark pants.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone with information or may have witnessed anything unusual around the time of the offence.
