Cash stolen in Carlisle café burglary

The Arches Coffee House

Police are appealing for information after a burglary at The Arches Coffee House on Fisher Street in Carlisle.

Cash was stolen after the café was broken into overnight on Sunday 28 April.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “At this time this burglary is not being linked with the spate of city centre burglaries last year.

“Officers are also warning café owners to keep their business premisses secure, check security measures are up to date and that no cash if left on the premisses overnight.”

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Cumbria Police on 101 quoting log 29 or 29 April.
