Missing man wanted on recall to prison

Alex Nurthen

Police are appealing for information to help locate 27-year-old Alex Nurthen.

Nurthen was released from prison having served a sentence for causing grievous bodily harm and false imprisonment. He has now breached the conditions of his licence and is wanted on recall to prison.

He is described white, 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build, with blue eyes and short straight blond hair. He also has tattoos on his neck.

He has links to Greenwich and areas of East London, as well as Sussex and Cumbria.

He is also being treated as a missing person as officers concerned for his welfare.

Anyone who sees Nurthen is asked not to approach him but to call 999 immediately.
