Police are investigating an arson which occurred on Saturday 11 May between 1pm and 3pm at Risehow Industrial Estate, Flimby.
The suspect/s has set a deliberate fire on wasteland situated next to Thompson Plant Hire Ltd.
The fire has caused damage to an outbuilding.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters were called to the blaze at 2:55pm, Saturday 11th May 2019.
“One fire engine from Maryport and one from Workington attended reports of a building fire at Risehow Industrial Estate, Flimby.
“On arrival crews found a 10m2 building well alight.
“Crews used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and were in attendance approximately seventy minutes.”
No one was injured.
