Firefighters tackle Whitehaven blaze

Two fire engines from Whitehaven were called to an outbuilding fire on Solway Road at Moresby Parks.

Fire crews were called at 10:29pm yesterday, Monday 13 May.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Fire service used two hose reels and one breathing apparatus and one thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.

“Crews were engaged for one hour.”
