Discounted rail travel for running and swimming events on TransPennine Express trains

Discounted rail travel to Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run and Simplyhealth Great North Run on TransPennine Express trains

TransPennine Express (TPE) has been named official train partner of The Great Run Series and will be providing discounted tickets from towns and cities across the North to some of the UK’s most popular running and swimming events.

Those travelling to events including the Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run, John West Great North Swim or the Simplyhealth Great North Run on 8 September can leave the car and stress at home and get a special 10 per cent discount off advanced fares.

This exclusive offer which is available for runners and their supporters can be booked online: or via the TPE app using the code GreatRun.

The Great Run Series offer a range of sporting events across destinations including: Manchester, Windermere, Newcastle and Glasgow.
