Police are investigating a road traffic collision that occurred on Sunday 12th May at 4:50pm, on the Outrigg/Grove Rd between St Bee’s and Egremont.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The collision involved a cyclist and a silver Range Rover.
“The cyclist, a local 12 year old boy received minor injuries.
“The cyclist was with two other cyclists prior to the incident.”
Police are appealing to the driver of the Range Rover, or for anyone who can help them with this enquiries, to contact PC 2613 TURNBULL on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
