Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Millom.
Police were called at 00:31am on the 24th May, to the report of a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a van leaving the carriageway on the A5093 Millom. The incident could have occurred a while before the police were contacted.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The driver of the Fiat Scudo, a 33-year-old local man, was taken to Furness General hospital. He has since been discharged with injuries believed to be minor.
“Emergency services including fire, police and ambulance attended the scene.
“The road was closed between Satlthouse Road Junction and Huddleston Road whilst investigations were carried out.”
