Appeal after girl hurt by ‘aggressive’ dog in Workington

Police are investigating an out of control dog in the area of Shore Road, Workington between the 20th April and 12th May.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “There have been a number of incidents involving a dog described as a border collie which has acted aggressively towards people and their dogs.

“On May 4th at approximately 3:30pm to 3:45pm the dog has jumped up at a young girl who suffered minor injury.”
