Carlisle Charity Fire Engine Pull

Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service’s latest wholetime firefighters are a week away from passing out and will be pulling a fire engine from Carlisle East Fire Station to the city centre via the Old Fire Station in Carlisle in order to raise money for charity, engage with the community and educate the locals on fire safety.

The event is commencing at 11am on the 4th June this coming Tuesday, the fire engine pull is expected to take around two hours.

Holden Studholme from Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “They will be stopping in the city centre for around two hours to talk to the community.

“Our recruit course is donating the money to ‘The Firefighters Charity’ as it’s very close to our hearts.”
