A rare full-time opportunity for a flexible, experienced Cook who enjoys homemade food prepared on site, keeping people sustained following tried and tested recipes. Numbers for any meal can be between 10 and 50. We offer a set menu with vegetarian option and, of course, cater for diets and allergies. All ingredients are carefully sourced and we have excellent facilities.
Food is valued highly and is one of our key strengths at Higham, alongside excellent courses in a unique, friendly and homely environment. We are a 7-day-a-week rural residential college between Cockermouth and Keswick attracting adult students from all the UK for short learning breaks.
Visits to see us are welcome. Our main Cooks Jan and Sue, depending on rota, can be available to informally discuss aspects of the job if you wish. Give us a ring 017687 76276.
