Man hurt in Barrow attack

Police are investigating an assault which occurred on 29th May at around 1:30am outside The Forum, Duke Street, Barrow.

The incident is reported to have involved two men, one of whom was on a moped.

A third man on a moped is believed to have been with the other rider at the time of the incident.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The man who was not on a moped received minor injuries from the incident.

“Police would like to identify the two moped riders as part of their enquiries.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information regarding the incident to please contact PC 2599 on 101, email [email protected] or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 142 of the 29th May 2019.
