Pedestrian hurt in Carlisle hit-and-run

Police are investigating a fail to stop road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a car in the area of Victoria Place, Carlisle at approximately 3:30pm on Thursday 30th May.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A woman has been hit by a large black car while crossing the pedestrian crossing and the driver failed to stop.

“The woman suffered minor injuries.”
