Police appeal after multiple shop thefts

Police want to speak to this man and woman

Following new lines of enquiry police are releasing CCTV images in an investigation into multiple shop thefts.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The first incident occurred on Monday 6th May at around 4pm in Booths, Penrith.

“The second and third incident occurred Tuesday 7th May between 3:33pm and 3:43pm from Workington Marks and Spencer’s and around 4:55pm from Keswick Booths.

“Officers would like to speak with the individuals pictured as part of their investigation.”

Anyone who recognises these individuals, or has any information about the incident, should call police on 101 quoting log number 257 of the 8th May or alternatively, Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
