Police are appealing for witnesses to a failed-to-stop road traffic collision which occurred on Friday the 31st of May at approximately 11.30am on St Vincent Street, Barrow.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The incident involved a pedestrian of primary school age and a vehicle, the child sustained a fractured leg as a result.
“The vehicle involved is believed to be a Vauxhall Zafira.”
