A MAN and woman have denied the alleged burglary of a Carlisle flat and theft of two flat screen televisions.
Shannon Louanne Cherry, 21, and 28-year-old Domonic Winner appeared at the city’s crown court this afternoon (THURS).
They each face one charge. This alleges burglary, and that they entered a flat at Highfield Avenue in Carlisle as trespassers between September 16 and 19 last year. The charge further alleges that they stole two flat screen televisions and a sound bar.
During today’s short hearing in front of Judge Andrew Jefferies QC, both Cherry and Winner pleaded not guilty to the allegation.
A timetable for the progression of the case was outlined by the prosecution.
A crown court trial, with an estimate of two days, was listed for the week of September 9 this year.
In the meantime Cherry and Winner, both of a different address on Highfield Avenue in Carlisle, were granted unconditional bail by Judge Jefferies.
