Two fire engines from Carlisle East and Carlisle west have attended a residential building fire on Cumwhinton Drive in Carlisle.
Fire crews were called at 8:36am today, Saturday 15 June.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The fire involved a ground floor bedroom.
“Fire fighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for fifty minutes.”
