Firefighters tackle Salterbeck shed blaze

One fire engine from Workington has attended reports of a building fire on Purser Road, Salterbeck.

Fire crews were called at 3:45pm today, Saturday 15 June.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews found a shed on fire and used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

“Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes.”
