Driver dies after collision on A1M at Leeming Bar

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fatal collision on the A1M near Leeming Bar on Friday 21 June 2019.

The collision occurred at 4.50pm and involved a blue Honda Civic car which was travelling southbound.

The driver of the car, a 26-year-old man from Scunthorpe was taken to James Cook Hospital, where he sadly later died.

Anyone who saw the blue Honda travelling along the A1M at this time, or the collision itself, is asked to dial 101 and ask to speak to Traffic Constable Mark Patterson. You can also email [email protected]
