Woman arrested after Carlisle robbery

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Friday 21st June at around 2:30pm on Pennine Way, Carlisle near to Brantwood Avenue.

The incident is believed to have involved two men and a woman.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “One of the men was assaulted and his wallet taken the man suffered minor injuries.

“A 21-year-old woman from Carlisle was arrested on suspicion of robbery and released under investigation.”
