Firefighters tackle Carlisle vehicle fire

Two fire engines from Carlisle have been mobilised to a vehicle fire on Aglionby Street, Carlisle.

Fire crews were called at 4:01pm today, Wednesday 26 June.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews found one vehicle well alight and extinguished this using one hose reel jet and one breathing apparatus.

“Fire crews were in attendance for approximately twenty minutes.”
