Delays on A66 after two lorries crash near Crackenthorpe

Emergency services are dealing with a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A66 near Crackenthorpe.

Police were called today (July 4) at 11.46am following a collision involving two HGVs travelling towards Penrith.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Motorists are advised to avoid the area as delays are expected and traffic is building up.”
