Double celebration for Cumbrian businesswoman

Elton Business Support named as finalist in the Enterprise Vision Awards & The Rural Business Awards
Sam Gargett

Set up and run by Sam Gargett, Elton Business Support, is in the running to be named Best New Business in the 2019 Enterprise Vision Awards, sponsored by NatWest and has been shortlisted in the regional finals for Best Rural Professional Services Business in The Rural Business Awards 19/20, sponsored by Amazon.

Based in Cumbria and Launched in April 2018, Elton Business Support works alongside clients throughout the UK in a nurturing role to get the best results out of a company and their teams. Elton Business Support carry out insight visits to give an unbiased and “outside looking in” view of a business and provides clear, jargon free feedback that can be used to help a company improve.

They have also recently launched a brand new service called Next Gen Insights, which offers valuable feedback from a younger persons perspective. The next generation of customers will soon be making their own purchasing decisions such as: who to buy their first home from, who to open a bank account with, where to shop for food, where to buy their first car, so this innovative service is proving invaluable to forward thinking clients and has meant Sam has been able to bring her daughter Tasha on board to work on the next gen projects on behalf of clients.

Speaking after being shortlisted for the awards, Sam Gargett said: “It is great to be recognised in this way and I am delighted to once again be representing Cumbria along with other successful businesses from the Cumbria region at both of these awards”

The Enterprise Vision Awards, sponsored by NatWest are the largest awards to recognise female entrepreneurs outside of London. Finalists will now all attend a panel interview and the winners will attend a glittering ceremony at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.

The Rural Business Awards 2019/20, in partnership with Amazon, will mark the Awards’ fifth year of celebrating the success of businesses across the UK’s rural economy. The North region award presentations will be held in Newcastle in October.
