Firefighters tackle Carlisle house fire

Two fire engines from Carlisle east and Carlisle west have attended a domestic building fire on Belfry Close in Carlisle.

Fire crews were called at 2:23pm today, Tuesday 16 July.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Fire crews used two hose reels to tackle a shed fire that had spread to a house.

“Crews were in attendance for one hour and ten minutes.”
