Furness Abbey Fellowship Medieval Fair

We are pleased to present our 7th Medieval Fair in the grounds of the beautiful Furness Abbey on Saturday 31 August 2019 between 10am and 5pm.

We welcome Iron Shepherds Living History Group, Trouvere Medieval Minstrels, Albert Harvey Alchemist, Brother John and Brother Patrick, and for the first time Steve Wharton Storyteller.

We have traditional crafts from Owen Jones, Vic Naylor, Tony Saunders and Furness Spinners and Weavers as well as modern craft stalls. There is lots to do and see including displays from Silverband Hawks and refreshments from Abbey Mill Cafe and Mansergh Hall Farm.

Usual entry fees apply, English Heritage members are free and Barrow Council Tax payers pay £2 on production of their bill. Parking is at Barrow Sixth Form College and Blue Badge holders can park at the abbey.
