Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was driven dangerously in Penrith on Sunday 14 July.
The car involved was a silver Ford C-MAX , Reg AK54EHT.
Police attempted to stop the car on Brentfield Way, but the vehicle failed-to-stop, then reversed and rammed the police car before driving off at high-speed through Penrith town centre at around 3pm.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Officers are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the driving and are keen to speak to a pedestrian who witnessed the reverse ramming of the police vehicle on Brentfield Way.
“Any dashcam footage of the vehicle being driven before, during or after the incident would be useful.
“The car have since been recovered by police.
“No injuries have been reported.”
