Genesis Homes submits planning for 55-home development at Rheda

Rheda Park

Genesis Homes has announced that they have submitted planning for an executive 55-home scheme at Rheda Park, near Whitehaven. This exclusive development will incorporate a mix of 3, 4 & 5-bed houses as well as 2 & 3-bed bungalows. The site, located 4 miles from Whitehaven, will benefit from a beautiful park land setting, with views of Ennerdale and The Lake District National Park.

Genesis Homes offers a high specification as standard and the house designs complement one-another and their surroundings while promoting a spacious neighbourhood feel. The site is in the vicinity of schools, shops and restaurants as well as offering easy access to Sellafield, Britain’s Energy Coast and Whitehaven Golf Course.

John Blue, Head of Land at Genesis Homes said: “It’s been great to see the level of interest in our new developments and the number of people contacting us for early-bird reservations before work has even started. To me it’s an indicator of the pressing need for high-quality new homes in Copeland and in wider Cumbria, and we’re glad to contribute to meeting this demand.”
