Police appeal after Grange-over-Sands hotel burglary

Police want to speak to this man

Following new lines of enquiry police are releasing CCTV images in burglary and fraud investigation which occurred between the 31st May and the 1st June.

The burglary initially occurred at The Grange Hotel, Grange-over-Sands where several bank cards were taken.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A man purporting to be from the fraud team requesting the pin code following suspicious activity on the card. The stolen card was then used at Barclays, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent where a large amount of cash was withdrawn using the pin code.

“Police would like to speak with the man pictured as part of their investigations.”
