Heart of the Lakes was one of the first companies to run an opt-out visitor give back scheme, with donations going to support essential ‘Fix the Fells’ conservation work since 1995. I enjoy climbing and fell walking and am looking forward to using my professional know-how to help protect this amazing landscape for future generations to enjoy.’
Sarah Swindley, CEO Lake District Foundation says, ‘Our board of Trustees play a vital role in helping us to achieve our aim of inspiring businesses, visitors and other donors to support projects and programmes of work across the Lake District. It’s fantastic to continue our long-standing relationship with Heart of the Lakes and I’m delighted to welcome Matt to the board.’
