Family pay tribute to ‘wonderful and loving’ man

Andrew Fallows

The family of a man who died following a road traffic collision on the A591 at Ambleside have paid tribute to his life.

Andrew Fallows, aged 48, from Grange-over-Sands, died following a collision at approximately 5.20pm on Monday (July 29) between a VW Golf and a Suzuki motorcycle.

His family said: “Andy was the beloved father of Josh and Abbie, not only a father but a best friend. The most wonderful and loving son and the best brother in the world to his twin sister. The funniest, silliest, kindest gentle giant. He will be forever missed and always loved.”

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call 101 and ask to speak to PC 2392 Oliver Evans, quoting incident number 172 of the 29th July.
