Players part of Penrith Festival

Mike Head and Roger Bird in a festival piece

Penrith Players are going to be part of the Penrith Arts Festival with performances of playlets and sketches.

They will be in town at 10.00 and 2.00 on Saturday 31 August and at the Playhouse Friday 30 August and Saturday 31 August at 7.30.

Mike Head of Penrith Players said: “We are delighted to be part of the festival which looks like being an exciting few days. We took a small part last year but have added pieces this year. Some are those we have toured round the area with, but there are other new pieces too. We invite everyone to get into the festival spirit. Thanks to Simon Whalley and everyone at EVAN who have worked so hard to make this happen.”

Tickets are available at www.penrithplayers.org.uk , on their Facebook page or from Penrith TIC, telephone 01768 867466 all at £5.
