Police appeal after man assaulted in Carlisle

Police are investigating an assault that occurred on Peel Street, Carlisle on 9th August, at 7pm.

The incident involved a 48-year-old man and a man in his mid-20s.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The man in his mid-20s was with a 19-year-old woman at the time, he is described as white of stocky build and wearing a blue jumper and jeans.

“The 48-year-old man suffered minor facial injuries.”
