Biker hurt in A65 hit-and-run

Police are investigating a fail-to-stop road traffic collision on the A65 at the Crooklands roundabout at approximately 4pm on Thursday the 8th of August.

The incident involved a small vehicle similar to a Suzuki Swift and a red motorcycle.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The motorcyclist, a 47-year-old man from the Ulverston area sustained a broken collarbone in the collision.

“He was taken to the Royal Lancaster hospital.”
