Police appeal after Kendal burglary

BMC and Trek style bikes (not the actual bikes that were stolen)

Police are investigating a burglary at a home in the Kendal Green area of Kendal, between 1pm and 5.45pm on Tuesday 13th August.

A number of items were stolen, including two mountain bikes.

One was a black ‘BMC’ make with a silver and green logo and a distinctive black frame bag under the seat. The second bike was a black ‘Trek’ make that has orange pedals, an orange logo and very large tyres.

Computer equipment, jewellery and clothing was also stolen.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Police are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at these times and has seen anyone with bikes matching the descriptions or anyone who is offered these items for sale.”
