Family pay tribute to woman who died in M6 collision

The family of a woman who died in a road traffic collision on the M6 have paid tribute to her life.

The collision occurred on Saturday 17 August at approximately 11.50am on the M6 Southbound between junction 41 and 40.

The family of 62-year-old Martina Taylor, from the Manchester area, have paid tribute to a much-loved mum, grandmother, daughter and sister.

Ms Taylors’ family said: “Martina was taking two of her beloved grandchildren home, after spending a week away in Cumbria when tragedy struck.

“She was much loved by her mum and siblings and leaves behind a devastated family, including three children, five grandchildren and friends.”

Any witnesses to the collision or anyone with dashcam footage are asked to contact police on 101 or alternatively email [email protected] referring to incident 83 of 17th August 2019.
