Carlisle brings the Acoustic Rave

Saturday 21st September The Showhawk Duo are bringing the acoustic rave to The Black Box Music Institute on Fisher Street, Carlisle with doors opening at 8pm.

The young British guitarists Mikhail Asanovic & Jake Wright, together known as The Showhawk Duo, have dazzled audiences worldwide with their spectacular approach to playing the guitar. Their playing style has broken down barriers between acoustic and electronic music. Whether playing 90’s trance anthems or modern funky house, their live show knows no boundaries and will leave you amazed!!

Together, they started out as buskers and have since gone to play all over the globe. They have performed at most of the UK’s large festivals including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Kendal Calling, Electric Picnic and are one of the headline acts at this year’s Beat Herder Festival.

They have had sell-out shows at Edinburgh Fringe, numerous radio broadcasts for BBC Radio 1 and even a previous residency at Pacha in Ibiza playing tunes like ‘Sandstorm’ by Darude, ‘Insomnia’ by Faithless, ‘Freed from Desire‘ by Gala, a ‘Daft Punk’ Mash Up and even ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ by Queen, raking up millions of views on YouTube.
