Highlights of the celebrations include two performances of BICYCLE BOY A bicycle powered musical, for children aged 6‐10 and their families at 4pm & 6pm on Monday 9th September at Pennine View Park in Kirkby Stephen.

Sam has 24 hours to clear out his Grandad’s old bike workshop. He remembers granddad teaching him to ride (and pretending to be his favourite superhero, Bicycle Boy). It seems Grandad may have left Sam a present somewhere in the workshop, and some clues to find it. But there’s no power and Sam needs electricity to unlock the clues. Can you help him? If we can connect up enough bikes and pedal like mad we can make generate enough power for Sam’s journey (and the show), Come and enjoy this musical adventure (and be prepared to help pedal power the performance!).

And on Tuesday 10th September from 7:30pm there will be a SUNSET OUTDOOR CINEMA again at Pennine View Park, with a screening of cycling themed entertainment, plus bottle bar and movie snacks, this event is presented in partnership with Eden Arts.
