A man has been arrested following a crash on the M6.
Police were called at around 3:30pm yesterday (August 27) to the report of a road traffic collision on the M6 northbound between junction 38 and 39.
The vehicles involved were a VW Golf and a Mercedes CLA.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The driver of the VW, a 29-year-old man from Bradford suffered minor injuries and was taken to Cumberland infirmary. He was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and dangerous driving and released under investigation.
“The driver of the Mercedes a 50-year-old man from Coatbridge and his passenger were uninjured.”
