Four fire engines and one aerial appliance were mobilised to reports of a building fire in Caldbeck,
Fire crews were called at 2:58pm yesterday, Wednesday 28 August.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews found a bungalow well alight with the fire affecting a bedroom and the roof space.
“Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a thermal image camera and the aerial appliance to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately 3 hours.”
