Police are appealing for witnesses after a three year old girl was bitten by a dog.
The incident occurred around 4pm on the 7th August, in the beer garden at the Mortal Man Inn, Troutbeck.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The dog involved was described as an Alsatian.
“The girl was taken to Westmoreland General Hospital and then transferred to Preston.
“She sustained facial injuries that required stitches.”
