Pedestrian hurt in Kendal collision

Police investigating a road traffic collision that occurred on Gillinggate, Kendal, at around 9.45am on 15th August are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The collision happened close to the junction with Kirkland and involved a pedestrian in her 20s, who was hit by a car when attempting to cross the road, leaving her with injuries to her leg.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The car stopped at the scene. However, officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what took place or who has dash cam footage which could assist.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101 quoting incident 48 of 15th August 2019.
