As the nights draw in Handpicked Productions invites you to gather your friends and family for a unique celebration of all things autumnal.

At Autumn’s Mellowing takes place on Saturday 12 October and is the second pop – up event by Handpicked Productions, taking place at Low Hall The Lakes, the enchanting 17th century farm with views over the Lorton Fells.

A seasonal celebration with stories and shadows, poems and posies, firelight, feasting and apples galore will see Storyteller Ian Douglas and wordsmith Emma McGordon lead you through an afternoon of activity into an evening of warm conviviality.

Ian Douglas is a favourite of the storytelling circuit and fast becoming a national treasure! He is guaranteed to keep everyone entertained with autumnal tales around the campfire!

Emma McGordon is an award winning Cumbrian performance poet and has been commissioned to capture the magic of autumn in her very own unique style. She will premiere new work celebrating nature and growth at the event.
