Supply Chain Opportunities Club event in partnership with Cubby Construction

The Supply Chain Opportunity Club supported by Cumbria Business Growth Hub are to partner with Cubby Construction to host a 1-2-1 meet the buyer and networking event on Monday 28th October 2019, 1pm to 5pm, at The North Lakes Hotel, Penrith.

Cubby Construction Ltd is a prime contractor looking to build its local supply chain and raise awareness of the opportunities to support future building and civil engineering projects.

They are particularly, but not exclusively, interested in meeting the following trades:

  • Stone Masons
  • Bricklayers
  • Plasterers / Renderers
  • Partitions & Suspended Ceilings
  • Painters
  • Structural Steelwork – Either on its own or combined with Cladding
  • Cladding – Either on its own or combined with structural Steelwork
  • Ceramic Tilers
  • Single Ply Roofing
  • Slaters / Roof Tilers incl Leadwork to flashings
  • Landscapers (i.e. Planting, Turfing)
  • Scaffolders
  • Flooring
  • Domestic & Industrial Plumbers
  • Domestic & Industrial Electricians
  • Builders Merchants
  • Timber Merchant

Tommy Cubby, Managing Director, Cubby Construction Ltd said: “We have actively encouraged local supply chain involvement in our projects for many years. This is an excellent opportunity to meet our team, discuss prospects and start or renew the successful partnerships that are the foundations of our business.”

There are limited places so do act soon to avoid disappointment.

Businesses who match the above trades will be contacted and allocated a time for a 1-2-1 appointment with the buying team. Either side of your 1-2-1 appointment there will be time to network with other suppliers, meet additional members from Cubby Construction and find out what support is available through Cumbria Business Growth Hub.

If you do not meet the criteria, you may still be invited to come along to network with other businesses and a chance to meet the team.
